Very good review sir thank you I'd say right now, these glasses are not ready for prime time. I think if the company keeps at it they can perfect them. By taking care of all the quirks and adding an AI assistant. My goal is to get as close as possible to Apple Vision Pro without the high price tag and something less bulkier that we can wear while walking without having to take them off, so vision pass is a very important feature to have with a sub $300 price tag. Let's see what the future brings

While the comments about blur are alarming, my big concern is the difficulty reading text. I watch a lot foreign TV shows on Netflix, etc. with SUBTITLES. If I can't read subtitles, that's an I stant fail for me.

The problem with such devices is they are inherently niche. Actually, that's not a problem, it is perfectly fine. But people who end up enjoying it are typically those who already have no real issues with focus. If you look at Remarkable 2 advocates many of them were already avid paper-notebooks-note-takers before getting RM2. So the personal "market fit" was already there. People without already established good habits won't miraculously gain them with a new (very expensive) device.

Finally! An honest review. I bought RayNeo Air 2 based on UA-camrs' reviews, but ended up returning them for the screen edges being blurry although I tried all the adjustments I could, which was very annoying. Not to mention that the projection follows the connected device's aspect ratio, which means different screen sizes and so various adjustments if you are looking for using the glasses with more than one device. That's said, I thought these ones are better than the ones I returned, but it looks like they share the same issues. It makes sense that your experience matches exactly mine with the AR glasses, so THANKS A MILLION! for such a great review. I will wait until a truly better technology comes out before I decide to try them again. God bless!!

That, plus looking online, Sol:OS is just Android 13 with the Niagara Launcher, tweaked for this B&W reflective screen (a transflexive or rLCD display?). It doesn't even sound like it's a dumb device, just an android device with a reflective black and white LCD with good marketing. There are a few android powered tablets with reflective e-ink like screens already, so once actual reviews start appearing we'll see how this compares to others. (search google for "Arun daylight tablet" for the only hands-on pre-review I could find) EDIT: I see the MrMobile channel here also just released a hands-on review of the Daylight called "Daylight DC1 First Look: Out Of The Darkness"

hello I am new to your channel . I need to ask a question . . As a hearing impaired . I wanted to have a pair of glasses in wich I could rear the subtitles of the people who are talking to me . Do you think that the technology is not yet ready ?I would love to try a few at glasses but I don't really feel financially comfortable to spend and try and waste money at each new at glasses . maybe getting a honest opinion from you and /or your subscribers could help me choose a good product ? thank you for your time . and your work 👍👍

I like the Dumb Device Wave (DDW I coined it first credit me forever lol), but I have a hard time paying smart device prices for dumb devices. I get manufacturing and development cost, but seriously I can't justify paying for an iPad like device that isn't an iPad. I was really interested in this device when it launched, but again, the $799 price tag for a brand new product that no one knows about or has any experience with outside marketing videos, that's a lot to ask for. Dumb Tech Companies, listen up. Please stop asking us to pay Smart Device prices for dumb devices....it doesn't make any sense and you know it doesn't cost that much to make a dumb product, they did it for years before the iPhone. Do it again, and you'll have more sales. Thanks for coming to my TEDx Talk.

I know they are on batch 5 but how many are they selling per batch because I would struggle to believe with what is out there that it would 100Ks of units so far. I could be wrong, and this does look cool, but being in tech and loving some of the devices coming out to help focus on different tasks, this is hard no at that price. Unless I am completely missing something here, because I could get a Boox eink device AND an iPad (air/mini/regular) for about the same or less money as this 🤔

I love the concept and pre-ordered one. There are some apps that aren’t “attention hoarders”… for example, sometimes you need to do something on your bank app… do you foresee having a limited number of other apps (such as maps) that are useful as tools too but don’t rob your attention?

How accurate is the HR , and is there any activity to apply to make HR more Accurate like garmin watch need to enter an activity to give more power to the HR sensors to give u more accurate results. Is the ring give accurate HR in high intensity workout , real-time without applying any activity like other watch.

I think my answer to the problem is to make my iPhone dumb by removing all these apps except the bare minimum stock apps and banking. No social and no streaming.

I never listened so much to music and podcasts ever since I got the Lightphoe 2,.. is crazy how addicted I am to stimuli all the time.. I even like just holding the phone, looking around at the new podcasts and scroll them up and down.. I can see now I am literally addicted to see new things all the time and scroll here and there.. how the hell did I end up like this? I was always out in nature biking as a kid, and as a teen i did eitehr martial arts or contemporary dancing every day, and we did not even have internet or smartphones and I was very energetic and happy back then.. now I fat like fuck and tired all the time.. all this started when I got an iphone and Facebook / instagrtam / tinder... my god.. they stole my brain and lifetime..
